Front load washer mold

Was told by fridgidaire to run a load of bleach in hot, followed by a load of vinager in hot. If that didn't work, they recommended DISHWASHER powder (1 cup) directly into the washer (not the fill cups) and run a load of that on hot. Frankly, call the corporate office and complain, complain, and complain until they send you a refund!!! It's a maintenance nightmare.

Avoiding Washer Mold

I use less detergent and leave the washer door and dispenser open. Always run the cleaning cycle too, once a week. So far, avoided the dreaded mold - thank goodness.
