This Hoover Steam Vac Spin Scrub carpet cleaner is a terrific cleaner. It has outperformed other brands I’ve tried before, for rugs and upholstery, and the price is extremely reasonable. It also stores well, due to its small ‘footprint’. It is ‘user friendly’, really delivers and a great buy!

The best feature of the Hoover Steam Vac Spin Scrub Carpet Cleaner is the outstanding suction power, to retrieve not just the dirt, but the steam/water and cleaning solution that has been applied to the carpet. With this Hoover Steam Vac you are not ‘tethered’ to a specific area of the house, as there is no need to connect a hose to a faucet or plumbing to operate this cleaner.It has two receptacles, one to fill with clean water, and one for retreived dirt and grime (which gives you a visual indication of its suction power). The multiple brushes really contribute to the cleaning action. The electrical cord has ample length for ease of mobility. Shampooing furniture is a simple operation with the powered brush mechanism.
Cleaning the unit for storage takes a little more effort, which would be expected. This is definitely a great cleaner.
