Now many households don't have any worries about cereals, cookies or crackers getting stale, they usually aren't around that long. But for a couple or small family, keeping an assortment of cereals on hand usually results in some of it spoiling before it is totally consumed.

Food storage containers come in all shapes and sizes with a variety of functions, but I've been very impressed with the ones that are conveniently sized for a box of cereal, with an easy to open 'pouring' lid, and smaller ones that are great for an assortment of cookies and crackers. These not only keep out unwanted pests but keep foods fresh and tasty. They also look great in the cupboard!

Filling these containers is no problem and they provide spillproof serving for most ages, with easy to close lids. Of course the clear plastic just makes viewing the contents easy and labelling optional.

I've also found that there is an added convenience feature to these food storage containers. Your dry food supply is always ready to travel. That is, when it's time to go camping, just pile your containers into a carton and you're to go. They are also ideal for storing and serving roadside snacks.

Say goodbye to ripped cereal boxes and torn food bags. When you see one of these in your cupboard, you'll want enough for all your cereals, and the money you save preventing food spoilage will quickly cover their initial costs.
