Guide Review - Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel
I found the Toilet Gel very easy to apply to the inside of the toilet bowl. The plunger applicator ejects a cool-looking measured mound of starfish-shaped gel that sticks to the toilet bowl. It looks like a soft gem on the bowl wall. Every time the toilet is flushed, it activates the gel to clean the bowl, until the gel is all gone.It helped keep the bowl reasonably clean. Our toilet bowl usually needs cleaning at least twice a week due to lake water, but the gel extended regular cleanings to once a week, so I consider this cleaner to be a time-saver.
The applied gel is supposed to last up to seven days, but it actually lasted 10 days for a household of two. Of course, length of time will vary with the number of flushes and persons in the household.
What I liked best: The nice mild fresh scent that was always present in the bathroom, even when the toilet wasn't flushed. It removed the need for bathroom air freshener. Although I'm sensitive to strong fragrances, I found it mild and pleasant and it did not cause any problem as long as the window was open or there was good air circulation in the room.
I find Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Gel a budget-minded toilet cleaner that's nicer smelling than toilet blocks or deodorizers.
