When baking is done, remove the bread from the oven and cool either right on the baking sheet, on a wire rack or on a cutting board. Check bottom of the bread to ensure an even baking. It should be a nice golden brown on the top and light to medium brown on the bottom. You can also tap the bottom and if it's done, it should produce a hollow thump sound.

If the bottom is too light, or it doesn't sound hollow when tapped, return it quickly to the oven for a few more minutes.
