Black & Decker Versa Brew Plus Coffee Maker Review

This has been a good coffee maker, with more features than you would usually find in a comparably priced model. The best feature overall, is the automatic safety shut-off and programmable timer.

This is the second one I've purchased, and I'm still very pleased with this model. It's a great buy.

This was bought as a replacement for the same model type which had wore out due to constant use. After exploring others in the same price range, I gladly went back to this model. Presetting the timer for it to be ready in the morning is a great feature.

It brews a great cup of coffee. Hence the good rating, even though the mild to strong selector doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever, so mostly it is just ignored. Since this doesn't interfere with the good performance, I am still very pleased with this model.

It uses standard basket filters, so permanent filters can also be used. Compared to many other carafes, the spout is quite wide allowing an ample flow, and spills are almost non existent.

Overall this coffee maker beats many models for price and performance.
