In response to consumer demand for increased versatile frozen food storage, manufacturers are now designing upright freezers with similar features found in refrigerator models. One such feature is convenient removable and adjustable door bins.
Although these bin storage systems do remove a small amount of capacity from the main cold storage area, they add versatility and allow better organization of freezer contents, as well as making it quicker to find and retrieve items. You can also adjust these bins to accommodate tall food containers. Since they can be removed, and in some cases put in the dishwasher, cleaning the freezer interior is much easier.
This is a convenience feature well worth it and one to look for when you're shopping for an upright freezer.
