Maytag Washers Model MAH9700 Safety Recall

Maytag Corporation has issued a safety recall on certain frontloading washers:

White Washers Model MAH9700 that have serial numbers from 10188468GA to 11683946GJ. These were sold from April 2005 to May 2005.

The model and serial number can be located inside the door opening, just below the rubber boot.

Hazard: When operating the washer at full load capacity, the spinner could malfunction, break apart and pose a safety risk.

Consumers should use care not to exceed the listed capacity of their machines, and contact Maytag Corporation for more information.
