Both Whirlpool Duet Sport™ Electric Dryers have the same great high effeciency drying features. The only differences are:
- Optional pedestal is the 10" unit for the YWED8300S and the YWED8500S can accommodate either the 10" or 15.5" pedestals.
- The depth of the dryers are slighly different: The YWED8300S is 32.9"D and the YWED8500S is 28.65"D.
