Question: Does 2x Concentrated Detergent Need to be Diluted?

Since 2X liquid detergent is concentrated, does it need to be diluted with water before using?

Answer: There is no need to add water to concentrated liquid detergents, whether HE or regular formulas. 2X liquid detergent bottles have fill lines marked in the caps to help you measure it full strength for each load size. Since it's 2x concentrated, the fill lines have been adjusted so that you measure and use only half as much as what you would have used with a regular non-concentrated bottle.

Therefore, you add no water and use the fill lines for measuring 2X concentrated liquid laundry detergent.
