Accessories will enhance your gift and in many cases will enable the receiver to enjoy the gift immediately, instead of having to wait until their next shopping day. Your gift could be enjoyed by all the guests and be the talk of the day. Here are some accessories that really count:

Batteries Are Included!

Does your gift operate on batteries? If you’re not sure, check the packaging to see if batteries are included. Ensure at least the minimum amount of correct size and type of batteries is included with your gift so they can try it out immediately. A spare set would be extremely thoughtful and appreciated. Not sure what size of batteries to include? Read Which Type of Batteries FAQ to find out which to include.

Coffees, Coffee Pods & Teas

If your gift is a coffee, cappucino or espresso maker, this new beverage appliance will be an immediate hit if you include their favorite specialty coffees. Add a variety of coffee pods for pod-operated coffeemakers. Including flavored cream would be a delight as would a special coffee spoon.

Include a variety of caffeine and caffeine-free or herbal teas with your teapot or tea maker gift. A bone china or porcelain mug, tea ball or honey dipper would be wonderful accents.

Kitchen Tools & Accessories

To kitchenware and cookware gifts such as mixing bowls, bundt pans, electric mixers, food processors, cookware - a sampling of spatulas, turners, whisks, measuring spoons or even a minute timer would be wonderful tuck ins. To cookie presses – add a variety of baking sprinkles. Pot holders and mitts are welcome accessories with any kitchen gift.

Include small gift sets of serving forks or spoons to your relish tray or servingware gift and a set of salad spoons or tongs to a salad bowl set. Fancy dessert dishes could include sundae sauces and long spoons.

Cutlery & Chef's Knives

Kitchen knives make terrific gifts and including a cutting board or knife block will perfectly ‘top’ if off. A good knife sharpener would also be great.

Gifting From Your Kitchen?

Creating your holiday gifts this year right from your kitchen? A great way to ‘package’ your baking gift with a holiday tray, cookie jar, accent plate or dish that they will keep to remember the gift long after the baking has been enjoyed.
