Poultry Lifters - Must-Have Turkey Roasting Tools

Removing the turkey or chicken from the roasting pan can be a messy ordeal, but not with these must-have kitchen gadgets.

There are many variations of poultry lifter racks on the market, but I prefer the ones that have a center removal pin, or can easily be removed when the turkey has safely been transferred to a serving tray. Non-stick finish adds a nice feature, making cleaning even quicker and easier.

Lifters also come in the shape of large four-pronged forks, usually sold in pairs. These also facilitate easy removal. They are also a great 'back-up' if you've forgotten to 'install' your lifter rack before roasting.
