This Silvermark Toss & Chop performed very well to chop cucumbers,onions, baby carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, green onions, celery, and green peppers. Not suitable for carrots larger than 1" and large vegetables or fruit should be halved prior to chopping.The micro-serrated edges are very sharp, making cutting very easy. The tool has a nice spring action design, good fit and finish, and handles have an ergonomic comfortable non-slip grip. Chopping is effortless.
The Toss & Chop is designed to 'toss' your vegetables and fruit, as you chop them in the bowl, and it worked as expected. Cleaning was very easy, and the tool has a great safety lock feature in the handle. It should be hand washed and dried well right after use to prevent the blades from rusting.
