The Bottom Line

Even without all the options other frontloaders have, this stainless steel tub, full capacity frontloading washer is a great buy. This washer has great reviews and would be so energy efficient to use. With a lower price compared to other models, it's a great buy.

Guide Review - Whirlpool Duet GHW9150PW Frontloading Washer

This is a research-based review of Model GHW9150PW frontloading Whirlpool washer. This unit is Energy Star ® qualified which means, it will be energy efficient to operate.

It has great cleaning power to deliver a clean washing, with ample capacity for loads of up to 16 pairs of jeans. It even has a special feature to interrupt the wash cycle to add other items.

Although it's quiet to operate, you can preset the timer for it to run later, as it's fully programmable. It has 8 wash cycles with 3 water temperature settings.

Care should be taken when washing small items like socks - these should be placed in a mesh bag. Small items can become trapped in the washer screen and hamper its operation. This could require a service call to remove and clean the screen.

And best of all, being a frontloader, it's gentler on your clothes, keeping them looking better longer.

HORRIBLE product...treated with care!, Member super.shopper

Had the washer ~3years, started vibrating so badly and was very loud. Called a repairman, he said it would be about $700.00 to fix. We are opting to purchase another one rather than pay to have it fixed and worry that something else will go wrong. Very disappointed, when you pay that much money for something it should last longer!
