Guide Review - Hot Cottage Collectibles for Vintage Style Homes by C. Dianne Zweig
Dianne Zweig's new book "Hot Cottage Collectibles" has a very colorful and delightful hard cover that beckons you to turn the page and see some treasures. And I wasn't disappointed. It has quality color photos from cover to cover with historical information and values.Rather than focus on one type of collectible, the author takes you on a vintage stroll down several memory lanes including 'Cottage Country Kitchen', 'Sweet Shabby Dreams' and 'Cabin Fever', just to name a few highlights.
I love the information provided on cottage basics and styles, as well as tips on how to get the cottage look (which I love), where to find collectibles and how to display them. I learned that my cottage style is a mix of Country and Rustic. It was great to see familiar collectibles and learn about their history and values. You can't help but catch a glimpse of the author's love for home and family while getting a peak at her collectible heritage.
"Hot Cottage Collectibles" is a great identification guide and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It's such delightful reading.
