This unit has 8500 BTU's and is energy efficient. A great feature is that the cooling and dehumidifying functions can operate totally independently of each other. It has a 24-hour timer and a built-in electronic thermostat for presetting operation. A heavy unit at 97 lbs, but still portable with good durable wheels, and side grips.It boasts that it has a super cool feature. It also has quiet operation due to the cabinet insulation. It comes with the window bracket and exhaust hose, and must be vented to ensure proper cooling. A great two-function model to provide room comfort.
