Guide Review - Cuisnart Chef's Classic 10 pc Cookware Set
The Cuisinart Chef's Classic pots and skillets have a gleaming exterior and polished interior. I like the feel of this set, pots are not too heavy but have an encapsulated base so foods heated up quickly and evenly. So much quicker than my triple-ply pans, that I had to considerably lower the cooking heat to avoid spills. The self-draining lids are so handy, they allow the steam to escape which helps to prevent spill-overs and you can drain right from the covered pan. The double spouts are extremely handy for no-mess pouring. Handles are stainless steel and can be slippery if hands are wet, but they remain cool to touch when pots are hot.
The set contains three saucepans, two skillets and an 8 qt stock pot. The stock pot size is perfect for soup or small roasts. Skillets performed well but at times were more difficult to clean. This cookware set is economically priced for the variety of pieces included and pots are well constructed.
What I like best about this set is the cooking performance - even cooking with no hot spots.
