Non-Stick Stir-Fry Skillets

Stir-Frying Made Easy

By , About.com Guide

Do you enjoy stir-frying, but it gets messy when you try to stir food around in a regular fry pan?

I use my nonstick, stovetop stir-fry skillet for many of my sauté or frying needs. The non-stick coating makes it a breeze to wash, and you have ample room to stir, add sauce or other ingredients. They also have ample capacity.

Stir-fry skillets are available in either electric or stovetop, and some even have a cover. If you're short on counter space for an electric model, the stovetop skillet would probably work best for you. I find this model stores very nicely with other skillets in the oven drawer.

The non-stick coating is an option, but definitely my preference. And make sure you use proper utensils for this type of coating, if you want it to last.

These skillets are very affordable, and also make a great gift item. I usually tuck in a couple of plastic or wood utensils, a packet of seasonings, and voila, the cook is ready to fry.
