The Bottom Line
Though it does remove grease and grime from the cooktop, it does not remove food residue, drips or pot rings that accummulate with cooktop use, nor does it give any protection. There are better cooktop cleaners.

Cons
- Not effective for cleaning burned-on foods, drips

Guide Review - Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner Review
August 29, 2010
I received a small sample bottle of Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner when I purchased my new GE range with a glass cooktop. The cleaner came with a small scrubbing pad. My cooktop is black and it quickly gathered terrible ring marks, drips and food residue that refused to be removed with a simple cleaning.
Though the Cerama Bryte Cleaner left the cooktop shiny and clean of grease and grime, it did not remove any of the rings caused by pans, nor any food residue and drips. Occasionally it did give a partial cleaning, only to look terrible the very the next time the cooktop was in operation. This cleaner left me very frustrated and on the hunt to find something better.
