Making freezer jam is the easiest and quickest way to preserve your berry harvest. It also produces the tastiest jam and retains the beautiful color of the berries.

What is often difficult, is finding the right sized containers to store your freezer jam batch. Most freezer products are too large and freezing small glass jars can result in breakage and food spoilage.

These Bernardin® Ball® Freezer Jars are perfectly sized not only for freezer jams, but also to store small food amounts such as homemade baby foods, sauces and salsa in the freezer. The jar size makes them very handy for refrigerating small left-overs.

A very convenient design of these 256 ml (approx. 1 cup) plastic jars is that the lids are screw-type, which enables you to easily re-seal them. They also have a labeling area on the jars which is helpful for date tagging. These freezer jars are not safe for the microwave.

These Bernardin® jars were purchased in Canada as a convenient 5 jar package which included a bonus pouch of fruit pectin. These freezer jars are available in the USA under the Ball® brand.
