In addition, the purifier continually recirculates and can refresh the air with the Air Revitalizer and Oxigenator providing clean, revitalized air to your room. A neat feature of this air purifier is the convenient built-in night light with optional on/off setting.

Oreck's exclusive Truman Cell™ technology boasts a filtration system that not only captures particles as small as 0.1 microns, but electrostatically charges and zaps them, destroying airborne allergens including bacteria, viruses, smoke, pet dander and dust. Compared to HEPA filters, the electronic Truman Cell has improved filtration capable of removing much smaller airborne particles with no replacement filters to purchase. The first stage pre-filter captures larger particles such as dust, hair and lint and is washable.

The Oreck Air Purifier has an optional Air Revitalizer that releases negative ions into the air to freshen the room and an Odor Absorber that removes common household odors. The Odor Absorber can be turned on/off and has a light indicator to signal it should be changed after 12 months of operation. In addition to this complement of air refreshers is an oxygenator that changes atmospheric ozones to oxygen.
