Guide Review - Review of Holmes Harmony Tower Air Purifier Hepa 99%

We had no problem setting up this Holmes HEPA Air Purifier; the instructions were very clear on how to remove all the protective plastic and insert the filters properly. However, care was needed with the filter clips that hold the HEPA filters in place. The purifier packaging provided further illustrative details on the direction of air flow and position of filters.

This unit is designed for efficient HEPA filtration of a 180 sq. ft. room, which is close to the size of the living room where we located it. Operation is very quiet, there is no problem hearing the television or carrying on a conversation in the room. Relocating it to the bedroom was easy with the built-in carry handle. The tower design is terrific - no need for a table or stand to place it on and you can locate it anywhere.

We've noticed a decrease in airborne particles in the room, which confirms that air is properly being filtered and ionized. The deodorizing benefit of the Arm & Hammer® baking soda in the HEPA filters is a very nice feature to help eliminate odors.

This air purifier is well built, and it has a convenient filter change indicator. Grills are easy to remove for regular maintenance and filter changes. The purifier requires 2 HEPA-type filters and a washable prefilter, and the operation manual provides details on regular maintenance.

Overall we are very happy with this Holmes appliance, it performs as advertised, has enhanced filtration features and fits right in to our home.
