When you're dishing out ice cream, dip the scoop into warm water before plunging it into the icy treat.  It will be easier to scoop the ice cream and it will look nicer in the dish too!

Did you know that spring scoops are handy for more than ice cream?  Use one to scoop and serve mashed potatoes or squash, or to drop batter into muffin tins or on cookie sheets.  This is one handy kitchen tool I can't live without.  In fact, I have three different sizes of spring scoops. It doesn't hurt that I love ice cream too!

Need a dessert idea? If you need a no-fuss dessert idea for your guests, ice cream is the easiest and quickest treat to serve anytime.  You can have a make-your-own sundae or banana split bar set up with ice cream, toppings, nuts, bananas and cherries. Don't forget the ice cream scoop. It's a light dessert especially after a heavy holiday dinner and a favorite for young and old alike.
