While the design looks awesome and not having to remove the K-cup filter holder from the brewer to use this specially designed Solofill Cup for your own coffee blends are its main claim to fame, it sometimes has left me wanting. The lid closes well, no issue there. But the occasional coffee mess is hard to digest. And there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it. This little K-cup alternative is innovative but it may need another make-over to resolve this issue.

Ekobrew is so much better than the solofill. The solofill doesn’t have a flat bottom and only holds 8 grams of coffee. The ekobrew holds 14 grams of coffee and has flat bottom.
Also the reviews are much better on Ekobrew.
Also the other reason the Ekobrew is better is it is made in the USA…not china like the solofill.
Kind of odd the Solofill is $14.95 and the ekobrew is $10!
