Since bakeware is sometimes difficult to dry well after washing, if your oven is off but still warm after baking, place your washed baking sheets or tins in it to finish drying. Drying while your oven is cooling down will keep tins from rusting, then you can put them away. Remember to stack or nest them gently when storing, to not scratch the coating of nonstick pans.

Even if the oven isn’t still warm from cooking, the pans can be dried by leaving the light on which will provide just as much drying power.
