There's a recliner in our living room that gets a lot of attention, but it's not from admiration and more because it has an outdated 'ducky' pattern and worn upholstery. But the rest of the chair is still fine. This is my hubby's favorite chair and while he doesn't find it ugly, he admits it needs a make-over. When replacing a chair is not in the budget, the next best thing is a cover. And while a throw style is obviously quick to apply, a form fit gives it that more professional look - or close to it.
I decided this was a good time to test a Sure Fit slipcover and the transformation is a sight to behold. Though we have to tuck in some excess around the seat on a regular basis (our chair is smaller than average), the make-over was a success. And hubby loves it. He even finds it warmer, cozier than before. And for me? The duckies are gone and the chair blends in so much better.
