Whether it's wood chips around the heat stove, plant droppings (dry leaves) or bird food (wild bird seed bin by door), it seems we are always grabbing a cleaning tool to tidy up. Ok, there are snack messes too, if you really must know. And I don't know about anybody else but I loathe having to pull out the big vacuum for those quick touch-ups.
So we grab a quick cleaning tool instead, such as a handheld vacuum, broom, sweeper or stick vacuum. They all work in various degrees. Some better than others, depending on the mess at hand. But I sure wouldn't want to be without a quick cleaning tool, because I don't particularly like a broom.
I recently tested the Speedy Sweep. I was rather curious to see how well it worked and why consumers like this tool. I now know. It has a bigger appetite than the average sweeper, bigger stomach too (bin), works longer (cordless) than most, does all floors and is pretty light, so it's easy to use. And easy translates into quick and less effort.
It won't replace your vacuum and costs a little more than some sweepers on the market, but it's pretty handy to have around. And it can sure gobble up messes. Now that the kids are grown, we only have ourselves to blame for messes. And we seem to make our quota of them.
