A 12-volt cooler is a must if you tend to bring cold foods, snacks or drinks with you in the car, RV or boat. If your refrigerator is at full capacity, you can plug the cooler into a home receptacle to keep extra food or drinks cold when guests pop in. A thermoelectric cooler is just so much handier, than having to deal with bags of ice in a standard cooler.
