Using an electric knife sharpener can save a lot of time and guesswork, but the problem is most sharpeners are not designed to sharpen a variety of knives, including serrated cutlery. That's what was interesting about this Model 130 Chef's Choice sharpener.  It can sharpen all types and brands of steel kitchen and sporting knives.  I'm not very proficient with a knife steel or stone, so I usually leave that to my better half who is definitely better at that task.  In fact, the thought of me sharpening a knife actually makes him a little anxious.  But when it comes to an electric sharpener like the 130, I can handle it - without injury.  Find out how this sharpener performed in our Chef's Choice 130 Sharpener Review.

I’m a huge Chef’s knife sharpeners fan. Working in a professional kitchen, my knives go blunt in a very short time, it was a huge time saver using the electric knife sharpeners, particularly the 130 model. I will recommend it to anyone. I’m so impressed I’ve even built a site about it.

A good sharpener can significantly improve the lifetime of your cutting knives.
