Proud Owner of a New Appliance?

Saturday December 27, 2008
Was there a new appliance under your tree this year? Or maybe you've taken advantage of the holiday sales to equip your home with new appliances. The product manual and registration card may still be tucked inside the packaging. You'll want to locate and safeguard this important product information.

The manual may not be too appealing for bedtime reading and such, and you may already have figured out how to operate this new appliance. But you may be missing out on some nice time-saving or convenience features that you're not aware of. That's just one reason to take time to read your product manual, there's actually more. After all, you'll want to make the most of your new appliance. And to protect your appliance, it's a good idea to register it either online or by mail. This can save you time and money should appliance repair problems develop.

If you're still watching for great appliance buys, check out my Before You Buy Appliances index of smart buying tips and happy shopping.
