I and all the members of my halls block are huge fans of yours.

When using our blocks tumble dryer we used the perma press setting for jeans and Tshirts.

Is this right? are our clothes going to shrink? Please help Mariette.

Yes - you’re right. Permanent press is safer for your jeans and shirts because of the lower heat and cool-down process. Clothing that is 100% cotton may still shrink a little, but washing in cold water and drying on lower heat reduces the risk of shrinking.
If your clothes has some spandex content though, the safest way to dry them is by hanging them. This type of fabric doesn’t do well in dryers. Just place on a plastic hanger and hang where air can circulate around the item. Most items will hang dry overnight, but jeans may take a second day.
You’re definitely on the right track!
