If your ranges are still under warranty or extended warranty, you should contact Whirlpool for a service call regarding the element and the glass top.
If the warranty is expired, you could try getting parts from Whirlpool customer service, or try through an online appliance parts retailer on this list.

You should be able to find parts; this range model is not very old.
